At Cream of the Crop Dachshunds, our puppies do not leave earlier than 10 weeks of age.

📌 How to Purchase a Puppy

To reserve a puppy from Cream of the Crop Dachshunds, you must:

1. Complete a puppy application

2. Receive approval

Once approved, a non-refundable $500 deposit is required to hold the puppy of your choice.

Accepted deposit methods:

• Money Order

• PayPal

• Cashier’s Check

• Facebook Messenger

We do NOT accept personal checks.

📝 Waiting List Policy

Our waiting list is organized by color and gender preferences.

As puppies are born, we contact families in order from the top of the list.
If you pass on the puppies available at your turn, we move to the next person.

Please note:

• If you pass after placing a deposit, your deposit is forfeited
  or you may choose to move to the bottom of the list

• All deposits are $500 (non-refundable) and go toward the total price of your puppy

 

📄 Purchase Agreement

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at the time the signed contract is returned.
All payments toward a puppy are non-refundable.
If you change your mind at any time, no refund will be issued.

The remaining balance is due no later than 8 weeks of age.
If the balance is not paid on time, the puppy will be offered to another family.

💛 Health Guarantee

All puppies from Cream of the Crop Dachshunds are examined by a licensed veterinarian and are in good health at the time of delivery.

If your puppy is diagnosed with a serious, permanently life-altering health condition, the seller will offer one of the following:

• A replacement puppy from a future litter (after the puppy is returned at the buyer’s expense)
  or

• A refund of the purchase price (after the puppy is returned at the buyer’s expense)

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

The buyer has three (3) days from receiving the puppy to have a vet exam completed.
Any request for a refund must be made within this timeframe and must be based on a condition that severely affects the puppy’s quality of life.

🐶 Temperament & Training

Normal puppy behaviors such as nipping, chewing, barking, and marking should be expected.
Buyers are encouraged to train their puppies to correct these behaviors.

✂️ Spay/Neuter Requirement

Puppies sold as pets only must be spayed/neutered by 12 months of age.
Proof of the procedure must be provided to the breeder within 10 days.

We do not sell puppies with breeding rights.
